Has anyone ever wondered why Google calls Its address bar as 'Omnibox'?
Its simply because its capable of doing lot more than taking addresses.It can perform search on your favourite search engine and now it can even handle some of your routine mathematics without switching to any application or redirecting you to a website.
Any calculation whether complex or simple can be performed by chrome.
The result simply appears almost instantly below the box just as suggestions appear for any normal query.This addition is not restricted to chrome desktop,even mobile versions support this functionality.
Its a very small addition to the browser but shows Google's broad vision of taking user experience to a different level.
